The Philadelphia News & Daily Inquirer reports that wide receiver Kevin Curtis is undergoing surgery for a sports hernia and will miss significant playing time.

Dang it.. i had big things planed for this guy(my 4th WR).. who do i pick up he was my 4th WR, I think these guys are still on WW, D. Bowe, Ronnie Brown(hurt),  Jabar Gafney,  Any sleeper guys you can think of?? I think only Colston got drafted from Saints, What about Deion Branch has anybody heard is he healthy

That's bad news for both Kevin Curtis AND Donovan McNabb owners.  I liked Curtis as a #4 WR because he was the #1 WR in a pass-happy offense.  This puts a damper on his production, no doubt.  Sounds like he might be out for a long time.

Of your list, I would definitely take D Bowe.  KC isn't good, but Bowe is very talented.  He is clearly the #1 WR in KC...and Tony Gonzalez helps take some of the pressure off him.  I would go with Bowe.

I don't know who will emerge as the Saints' #2 wide-out -- Patten?  Meachum?  etc.  There are only so many balls to go around when you add Shockey & Bush too.

I say go with D. Bowe...

I agree another guy out there is Roddy White?? Justin Gage??  Kind of ticks me off like you said McNabb owners can't be happy, IMO this hurts the eagles O big time

I like White better than Bowe.  He's had a strong preseason with Ryan and did excellent last season with Redman (8 TDs).  White is your best option IMO, but I do like Bowe a lot as well.

As for sleepers, well, how about the rookie the Eagles took, DeSean Jackson.  He's had a fantastic preseason and fits the mold of Curtis to a T (small, elusive and speedy).

If Roddy White is out there, he's my choice.  I love the guy -- drafted him in a recent auction draft.  Take White if he's out there.  Bowe would also be my second choice.

I actually like Roddy White better than Kevin Curtis.  I know the Atlanta Offense is a question mark in 2008, but I don't think White gets enough fantasy respect given the nice numbers he put up in 2007.  Plus, Atlanta is in a Dome & could be passing a lot trying to come from behind.

Go get him, thaas!  I hope it works out well for you.

Curtis was a nice pick, don't get me wrong.  I just like White a little better.  I think he is underappreciated & undervalued in fantasy football.

White is the best player on this offense, Curtis is not.  That's my line of thinking.

Good Point plus with Michael the Burner Tuner they might have a better running game, we already know they have a better QB??
