According to the Bengals official web site, head coach Marvin Lewis has said that if the season were to begin today, Chris Perry would be the starting running back.
Perry has the talent to be VERY good. He is a former 1st round pick. His problem has always been his propensity to get injured. If he can stay healthy, he's the best back on the team by far.

Sounds kind of like Rudi?? Where does Kenny watson fit in??
This could be another one of those ugly RBBC situations. Each RB has their respective strengths/weaknesses. I still think Rudi will be the #1 guy ultimately, but he has a lot of competition.

No, he's not like Rudi, he's actually a lot like Kevin Jones except a little less powerful, but better hands. He's a hybrid of Rudi and Watson.
I don't trust him because of his injury history, so he's only worth a late round pick at this point.
