Boldin requests trade, doesn't see resolution
Boldin has showed up to practice even though he has requested a trade. It's being reported that he doesn't believe his differences with the team can be resolved.
This could get ugly. If Boldin isn't happy, he may not play well, which would hurt his value. If he gets traded, he may go to someone with a bad QB situation, which would hurt his value. The only way this could work out well is if he is traded to a team like Seattle, that is starved for WRs and has a good QB, otherwise, Boldin stock needs to be dropped slightly for now, maybe more if he becomes more vocal.

I totally agree. Apparently, he isn't even on speaking terms with the head coach. This is NOT a good situation.
If I were Jerry Jones, I would POUNCE on this situation. If you could add Boldin to TO & Witten, you'll have the best offense in football.
I'm sure he's already been on the phone with the Cards. They have said adamently that they will not trade Boldin and they will not redo his contract. If they stand on that, Boldin will not be happy and will not perform well, if at all.
I say that if the Cards win two of their first three the trade rumors stop at least temporarily. As long as AZ is in the playoff this year I think Boldin holds his toungue. And I think AZ has a chance to make some noise in their division so I doubt he gets traded this season.
Dave any truth to the rumor you called JJ and said get this guy... What would he do to T.O. & witten fantasy value??
I think their values wouldn't take much of a hit and may actually help since Ds could not focus on just them. Romo would be the #1 QB in the league.
Oh well, Arizona won't trade him anyway, but it's nice to dream.
If I were an Eagles fan, I'd be hoping like crazy they were calling the Cards and trying to work something out.
Do you think Dallas can get him by giving Arizona a #1 pick? If so, I would do it. Boldin would make Dallas the clear NFC favorite IMO. Plus, a #1 pick would be selection #31 or #32 if they make the Super Bowl.
I believe Arizona would be willing to trade him if they could get a #1 as part of the package....they would at least listen.
I don't think anyone can get him this year. He's still signed for 3 years and this is the weakest this division has been for a while. I think they'll keep Boldin and attempt to win the West.
Ya i agree with you and don't you think picking up a guy this late in preseason it would be hard for him to have a impact??
I don't think it would be hard at all for Boldin to have an impact in Dallas. He's a tremendous #2 WR & would thrive with the attention put on T.O. & Witten.
There would be an adjustment period, but I think Boldin would pick up on the offense. It didn't take Chris Chambers long to make an impact in San Diego after being traded from Miami. I think Boldin would be a tremendous acquisition for Dallas if Arizona was willing to trade with them. He still would have a couple of weeks to learn the offense & get some timing down with Romo before the season starts.
Agreed. if he were to go to another team, it would take long for him to get acclimated.
I just think to get timing down between a QB and WR takes a bit of time??
It does, but it wouldn't take too long...maybe a few weeks.
Receivers do seem to acclimate themselves in new offenses fairly quickly, thaas.
With regards to the Eagles, I wouldn't be surprised if they've made some calls to inquire about Boldin. He doesn't want to play for the Cards, Lito Sheppard doesn't want to play with Philly. The Eagles also have an extra #1 pick that they acquired on draft day. I'd love to see them get something done but i'm not holding my breath.
