The last day of The Masters was filled with intrigue and much theater. Entering Sunday, it appeared that perennial favorites, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson had too much ground to cover, each beginning the day at –4 for the tournament, seven strokes behind both Angel Cabrera and Kenny Perry.
The Philadelphia Flyers entered Easter Sunday needing only a point to clinch home-ice advantage for the opening round of the NHL Playoffs against the Pittsburgh Penguins. They hosted the New York Rangers today and took a 3-2 lead into the 3rd but were unable to hold on, eventually losing 4-3. That the Flyers have been wildly inconsistent this season is an understatement. Since March 1st, they have played only .500 hockey, having gone 11-11 including today's loss. In round one they will face the team responsible for dispatching them from last season's Eastern Conference Finals.
